Honestly, I found this rather interesting as dreams are a big interest in my life. But what struck me as a tad but frightening was not only the creepy face, but the fact that thousands of people have seen this man as a big part of their dreams.
Reading the website, I see that the origin of this phenomenon is from a mental patient’s description of a friend she doesn’t know in real life but interacts with regularly in their dreams.
A description was taken down then sent to other psychologists and psychiatrists, whos patients then began recognizing the drawing, not knowing why or what the skeatch was from.
Theories as to WHY suddenly all these people are seeing this man range from Conforming Disorders to dream surfers (like in spongebob :P ). All are incredibly amazing in their own rights and I suggest you make your own theories…
Yes, I’ll admit it sounds a bit far-fetched. However, like slenderman, it may be real or not, but that doesn’t make it uninteresting. By all means, explore the site. Maybe you’ll realize you may have seen him.
