Community Guidelines
All Supernatural is a place to share encounters, ask questions, and explore the unexplained together. Whether you are a believer, a skeptic, or simply curious, you belong here. Treat the people behind the stories with care.
These guidelines apply throughout the community: stories and other submissions, blogs, story and blog comments, private messages, member profiles, and replies.
Be respectful, even when you disagree
Discuss the experience or idea without attacking the person sharing it. Thoughtful questions, skepticism, and alternative explanations are welcome. Belief is not a reason to ridicule someone, and disagreement is not a reason to question their character. Remember that an unusual experience may be personal, frightening, or connected to grief.
Keep interactions safe and welcoming
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, threats, and targeted humiliation have no place here. Do not encourage others to pile on a member, send unwanted sexual content, or pressure someone to continue a conversation. Respect a request to stop and do not use another account to get around a block.
Respect privacy and boundaries
Share only personal information you are comfortable making public. Do not post another person's contact details, location, identifying information, photos, or private messages without permission. This includes screenshots of conversations. You may share relevant details privately with site support when asking for help with a concern.
Private messages should be considerate and welcome. An unanswered message is not an invitation to keep sending more, and nobody owes another member a reply or personal information.
Share honestly and give credit
Describe your own experiences honestly and distinguish what you observed from what you think it means. Do not impersonate another person, present someone else's work as your own, or pass off fabricated or altered evidence as authentic. Credit sources and only share writing, images, audio, or video that you have permission to use.
Contribute without spamming
Keep comments relevant and give other members room to participate. Avoid repetitive posts, unsolicited promotions, scams, and messages asking members for money or sensitive information. Achievements are a way to celebrate taking part; do not flood the community with low-effort content just to earn them.
If something crosses the line
- Use the flag button on a story or story comment to flag inappropriate content. Disagreement alone is not a reason to flag someone.
- For unwanted private messages, open the conversation and use the block option to stop new messages between you and that member. Blocking does not remove existing messages.
- For concerns about private messages, blogs, blog comments, profiles, or anything without a flag button, contact site support. Include the relevant link or member name and enough context to explain the concern.
Step away instead of escalating an argument. We may reject, hide, or remove content that crosses these boundaries. If you have a question about a moderation decision, please get in touch.
Thank you for helping make the unexplained a little easier to talk about.
