A coincidental visit from Dad

While in the living room of our home, my children swimming out back in a small pool, my husband called to me from upstairs to come check on something. Before heading up, I glanced to our sliding glass doors to check on our 3 girls and had amazingly noticed my dad whom we dubbed as "Doorway Bill" standing there in the doorway of my kitchen looking out on the girls. He then turned to me nodded and smiled while rubbing his belly, something he always did, then looked back outside. After doing a triple take and trying not to lose my footing on the stairs, I just accepted it with a smile and said "Come again dad you're always welcome and we love you." A few weeks later I told my mom the story and she asked me how I knew it was dad. I replied,"Well he was wearing his grey lounge pants and a blue shirt' for which he wore while he was ill and would wear on a regular basis. Mom and I thought this so amazing and figured it a blessing but hadn't mentioned the incident to anyone. A few weeks pass by and my oldest brother approached my mom with a story. He was at a baseball game with his three boys when he felt someone staring at him. As he looked over to his side he noticed a man picking up items, who then looked over at him and his boys. My brother thought to himself, "that man looks a lot like my dad, but wait I know where my dad is, until the man looked at him again nodded with a smile, rubbed his belly and disappeared amongst the crowd of people. He couldn't believe what he'd seen and was very overwhelmed. My mom then asked him what the man was wearing and what made him think it was his dad.

His reply, "the man was wearing dad's grey lounge pants and a blue shirt and rubbing his belly."

The funny thing about these stories is they happened also on the same day, about 3 hours apart, which coicidentally is how long it takes to travel from my home to my brothers.
