A Coolective apparition of Phantoms en Masse
I have recently discovered online that Columbus, OH, is one of THE most haunted locations mentioned on a site that I visited recently. Well, I'm prone to believe that based on the many events that happened to me & my siblings. This one can be verified by asking any of them except Tom, who has passed. One night my Mom was at work, and there wasn't anything on tv worth watching. So we made up a game, called Come Find Me. It's loosely based on hide and seek. Now before we actually moved into the flat, we attempted to bless the place, but later you'll see it wasn't done correctly. On this night when we began the game, we all ran to my room & hid in the closet, except my sister J. who was "it". She came & found us, but in order for 1 of us to be"it" she had to catch us. She began reaching out, and we were all giggling and running until we got to the hallway steps. EVERYONE STOPPED! Why? In the center of the hallway steps was a huge monstrous mouth. It had to be 5" X 3", full of canine teeth, yellow, green red, and black. What T F???? everyone screamed. What do we do now Nina? I thought, well, run....I was scared too, but I was the eldest, so I said run through it! Screaming we all ran through it, but it wasn't over yet. When we got to the end of the steps we needed some light. The kitchen was the closest place with any light source. So, I had to elect someone to get into the kitchen and pull the cord. Oh yes, nobody wanted to do that. K. Go turn on the light, I don't want to [do you blame her?] Right near where the cord was the kitchen table is located, above it was a white head, with glowing red eyes & hair to match, and it was smiling. Ohhh ahhh, screams .... we all screamed. I looked next to the stove, and there was another face looking up, both of these heads had no bodies. Forgetaboutit, I screamed! We ran into the living room. What now??? everyone screamed? As we attempted to hide behind furniture. Go out side, I demanded! Okay we all went outside. "We're staying out here until Mom gets home." Then I questioned everyone. The same report. Each and every sibling had the same exact report. Mom didn't believe us, until one afternoon, she said go run [someone] a bath. So I did, the pipes were electrified. OUCH, WTF? Mom I can't do it, I don't think anyone can. She tried, OUCH! That's the day we began looking for another place to live [As it turned out that place was haunted too, but I'll tell a tale about it later]. Eventually the flats were condemned & bulldozed over for a parking lot for The Grange Mutual, an Insurance agency. The only building left on the block was Mrs. Taylors place. Years later, after my child was a teenager, we went back, I told her "Whatever you do, Do NOT go over there by that tree." She said,"I won't Mom", but didn't ask why. I was relieved about that let me tell you! Then last year a few of us went back to see if The Taylor house was still there, the only thing left were the stairs. I thought of Harry Houdini's place , I saw that when I was in CA, once too. One of us said "Well it's gone, we'll never see The taylor family again." and never have a cause to return to the 700 block of South Front Street either, but the tree was still there that stood in front of the flat that we lived in. I wonder if anybody else knows about that, or ever had any experiences in the area? I guess I'll never know.

They actually were from another dimension, maybe demonic , or lost souls.
