A Ghostly Visit From Our Founding Fathers
I'm 17 and I live in Az. In the eighth grade I went to Philadelphia for a field trip in March of 2005. When I got to go inside Independence Hall, I had a ghostly visit.
The tour guide took our group, which consisted of myself, tourists, and my classmates, to the room where the Declaration of Independence was signed. While he was giving us info about the room, I went into a hypnotic state. I felt as if the voices around me began to fade away and I was "alone" in the room. I looked over at an old table and saw some mist forming, and of the mist I saw Ben Franklin right in front of me. He was sitting by some other guy and he was talking. He looked a lot older than what he looks like on a $100 bill. He was wearing charcoal gray socks and a blue coat, his hair was a salt n' pepper grey and very thin at the top. His good friend Thomas Jefferson came along and soon more men. The room was filled with the state representatives. Jefferson, who was giving some influential speech, began throwing papers down on a table and some guys in the back were laughing.
Then one of my friends told me we were leaving and I looked towards the men and they all faded away. This only lasted about 30 seconds, but it felt like 5 minutes. So if you’re interested in my story, and want to know more please respond back on your thoughts about my story.

that sort of thing happens to me sometimes, where i just sort of start to black out and i see and hear things, but i find myself in a different place. the thing that gets me out of the trance is usually something really odd; my father once said ANDREA (my name) in the voice he uses when he's trying to yell at my sister and i'm interfering. another time, it was this purple duck with a plank of wood with four wheels instead of feet and a string to pull it, and it quacked loud in my face like it was mad at me. it was really weird lol. don't think anything bad of those kinds of things, they're usually sort of fun, and you come out of it unharmed. i woulnd't really call it a curse, either... more like a ghostly encounter, i guess.

That's pretty cool. You 'witnessed' 30 seconds of past history. Nice.
