Astral Projection?

This is my earliest strange experience (I think).

I was employed at a very large factory as a Messenger Boy (I was only 14) until I should reach the age of 15 when I would be able to start an apprenticeship. One of my jobs was to collect the clocking in cards each morning at about 9.15. On the day in question, while I was collecting the cards, the head of one of the departments walked into the room wearing his outdoor clothes, came over to me and told me that he had some documents in his office that he needed me to take down to the main office. When I had taken the cards back to the person who checked them I went to the office of the man I had talked to. When I told his secretary that he wished me to collect the documents she looked surprised. She asked me when he had asked me to collect them and I said 'A few minutes ago'. She said 'That's impossible. He is in hospital and has been for several days!' She knew of no documents that had to be delivered, but did not discount the idea that he may have appeared to me as he was worried about something and so had, conciously or unconsciously, projected his image to me.

There was no follow-up to this so I don't know if there were any such documents.
