Astral Trip?

This may only be a coincidence but I find it interesting nevertheless. A few months ago I came across a book relating to Astral Travel and became really interested in it. For anyone who doesn't know what Astral Travel, Astral Tripping or Astral Projecting is, it's a form of meditation using your 'Third Eye'. Most people can easily do it under the influence of drugs. It causes you to separate your Soul/Spirit from your Body and travel to any place you'd like as a 'Ghost'. I've done it many times before, before knowing what it was. Now that I'm studying it, I can't seem to grasp it. I think that I'm trying too hard.

Anyway, my boyfriend was house sitting for a friend and I was at home. We were both asleep, this was the week that I began reading about it and trying it out for myself. I recall meditating and then falling asleep. During Astral Travel, which everyone does every night during their REM (Rapid Eye Movement) state while sleeping, you cannot recall your trip. The books that I have, explains how to recall them and control them, letting you travel and meet other 'Spirits' within the dimension you're traveling on. You wouldn't be able to meet anyone deceased, only other people who are Astral Projecting in their sleep/meditation on the same level that you are. Therefore when I awoke that morning I couldn't recall my dream.

My boyfriend came home that morning telling me that he had awoke early that morning and for some reason decided to go back to sleep, something that he rarely does. He then awoke to a soft tapping near his head, on the wall. So he got up and got ready to leave and while going up the stairs he saw a white flash near his face. They say before and after (I think it's both) a Soul/Spirit manifests there is a small flash of white light. As he went out the front door he heard something in the bushes. I think that, for some reason, it’s just my gut feeling, that whatever was in the bushes was just an animal. But everything else, I Believe was me. I wasn't thrilled that he was gone for a week, house sitting and it's hard for me to sleep without him. I think that it was me waking him, telling him to hurry and come home! He got up early to come home and sleep in our own bed anyway for that week he was there. I didn't want him to sleep for too much longer and then leave me to worry about where he was when all the while, he's just sleeping. I'm a huge worry wart.

Very cool. I tried it when I was younger and more 'psychically apt'. Can't say it ever worked for me. Cool stuff, hope you master it.
