Demon at my Friends House
I was at my friends house on her trampoline in the backyard and we kept feeling like something was about 10 feet away from us just staring. We were jumping and out of the corner of our eyes we both saw a black figure run behind a tree. We were so freaked out that we couldn't even move except to just sit down on the trampoline. We just stared at the tree waiting to see it again if it was possible, because we know that we weren't crazy. Then after about 10 minutes we went back to jumping but being very cautious. Another 10 minutes passed and nothing happened so we thought it would be ok for us to jump really high and do a flip. My friend did hers first ... nothing happened to her... she landed just fine. then I went and right when I was about to flip my friend screamed at the top of her lungs 'STOP NO DON'T!!! ITS BACK'. but it was too late .. I did the flip; right when I was about to land I got pushed some how and hurt my wrist, because I fell on it. I got up and said 'what the heck was that'. She told me that she saw the figure come from behind the tree and run at me. Then we both saw the figure standing about 18 feet away from us while we were still on the trampoline. Then it ran behind another tree. We decided to go inside so we counted to 3 and ran to her backdoor. as we were running we heard extremely heavy breathing behind us. We turned around [while running] and saw the black figure chasing us!!!!! We got inside and slammed the door shut. It was soo scary because when we closed the door it was still running at us, but when it hit the door there was a bang and it disapeared.
We just sat on the couch staring at the door and thinking about what had happened. It took about 5 minutes and then we had realized that we left her dog outside. We heard her dog barking and growling [too bad it was a chu-wa-wa] (sp). So we had to run outside and get him. When we found him the black figure was about 5 feet away from him, so me and my friend got the courage to go unhook the chain off his collar so he could run inside. When we got otuside we went back onto her trampoline to try to take a picture of it. So we did and when she got out her camera to try to get a picture nothing happened for about 20 minutes. So we got off and we walked around to see if we could find it or make it come out of hiding. Then it did and it started to run for us. My friend tried to take a picture, but it ran up to us and the camera fell out of her hands and smashed onto the grass [I don't know how it could smash when it fell onto the grass but it did!!] So we just ran back inside, but as we were running our shoes some how just flew off [and we were wearing sneakers] and then we got inside and we both found that we had multiple scratch marks on our ankles. We were so freaked out that we didn't go back outside for the rest of the day / night [it was a sleepover] and were still creeped out to go in her backyard.

I would never say I know anything. What I do know is that this story has earmarks of stereotypical Hollywood thrillfest and the author has not bothered to clarify or refute the skepticism. It isn't fair to those whose stories are legitimate to have fake ones destroy everyone else's credibility. I'm not trying to just randomly shut people down and you would know that reading through other stories I've posted on. This one just stands out like an eyesore as a highly likely made up account. If you don't like skepticism, then please consider looking into other fields of interest because paranormal phenomenon is the most highly criticized field for pseudoscience practices and hoaxes. Without a mild side of rationality, to believe everything said is gullible and does no good for the science.

I agree with new breed, there is little to know science. I wouldn't agree that the only thing that is science is the technology, but most of the spirit world or anything like it is based on something else, I'm not sure what, but its not science. I will say that for some scientific technology to detect something, there's going to have to be some science stuff connected, because science is our world and the spirits have to at least have some of it to be in our world.

Seriously has anyone had an experience as farfetched as this?I have had encountered experiences myself but this really does have hollywood horror flick written all over it!I am sceptical possibly the author may have exxagerated on what actually happened.I have seen a dark dwarflike creature which I am pretty sure was a demon and I was at someones apartment and I walked up the stairs and in his room I saw him looking down and talking to the creature,and I immediately asked him who are you talking to?and the creature zoomed very fast into the closet,I was not afraid but it seemed to be afraid of me!My friend immediately answered me defensively,saying,"I`m not talking to anyone,I was talking to myself" honestly I didnt believe my own eyes,but because I saw him having a conversation and his answer I know I was not hallucinating,and also I have never seen anything like this before I have searched and have never found anyone else seeing the same thing,but maybe I missed it!I just found this site tonite and was checking it out because I wanted to see if anyone else has!Also this happened about 3-4years ago!I am not sure why my friend wouldnt admit it,I think maybe it was actually a demon in him speaking to the other one because I didnt hear what they were saying,so I dont even know if it was English!Or he did see it and knows what it was and doesnt want to tell me!All he said after that was he believed me because I said it with conviction but he swears he wasnt,later on though he wasnt defensive anymore and it wasnt like him when he was,later on he joked about it and never mentioned it again I tried to get him to talk about it but he never would,I dont talk to him anymore but there are other weird things that happened at his house but I never saw that creature again,and I have told others about it,I did not see the features very good and it is hard to remember now but from what I remember it was black all over and obviously had a mouth to talk and eyes to look up,I saw it from a side angle,and not very long it was short like a dwarf and from what I remember also large pointy ears for its size it had human features but it is actually not easy for me to describe,I have a hard time believing this story because normally on a trampoline you would take your shoes off to jump on,and if you were that scared and ran in the house I find it hard to believe you would care that much to first make sure your sneakers were put back on,and they just fly off!Also children tend to have a wild imagination!I am being serious and I would not mind if somebody criticized or told me they didnt believe me,because it is hard to believe if you were not actually there and have never had the same experience but this story sounds very fictional

I can't say wether or not I believe this incident to be true, but I can say this: Why in the world, if you're being chased by something paranormal, would you go back outside if it's standing 5 ft from a dog, to rescue said dog. I don't believe I'd do this. Especially if it can grab my ankles and rip my shoes off.

Guy, every person is different, reacts differently then you and I. Some, I assume like you, would leave the dog to fend for himself, but animal lovers like me, I don't care if that thing would or could rip my shoes off, I'm going after my dog.
So in this case the writer is just like that kind of person.
