Demon Owl
My husband is Mexican and shortly after we met, he told me about a supernatural creature that's native to his culture. It's called Lachusas (sp) and it's a winged demon that can also take shape as an owl. Basically they fly around and hide in the trees and stalk people until it's the right time, then they invade their minds and homes and the victim often sees things or hears voices whispering sinister things to them until the Lachusas has gone. They are evil creatures and they prey on those with strong Christian faith, trying to strike fear and doubt in them.
Around the first of the year, I awoke in the middle of the night to feel my husband struggling and mumbling to himself. Next thing I know, he shoots out of bed in a rage and punches a hole in our wall! When I asked him what the hell was going on, he told me there was a Lachusas in the room standing over him trying to strangle him and that the whispers in his head were telling him I was next. He gathered all the faith and strength that he could and backed the creature up against the wall and punched it in the face. I didn't see the creature, but he said that after the punch it sort of evaporated anyway. When we turned on the light, we could see that he was bleeding from where his fist hit it's tooth, and that the hole in the wall wasn't from my husband's hand, but the back of the Lachusas's head.

I also had a friend in the army (chago) who,s mother, was a witch in mexico, and she would catch lachusas with red thread and chanting to make them do things for her.

i'm also of mexican descent (but not a strong religious backgruond) and have heard of this! (and maybe seen some?) my mom would always tell us to come inside when i'd see owls. The correct name is Lechuza and they're also called "witchbirds". I've heard they're witches that appear as large owls that lurk around when witchcraft has been used. I've also heard that they are capturable with string somehow but not sure bout the details...

Hey!!! I think you may have a real case. The owl seems a little exagerated in what it looks like but after it showed up i had an angel flash it's wings at me. And my little sisters drawing a face repeatively like the ring and the cats acted out a falll in a well with the hay after one of my cats hid and we have to look in the well tomorrow. well i'm going to when it gets light out.

the other couple wasn't seen today and they were getting me to follow them so i'm hoping they didn't really get possessed and jumped in.
