Disappearing Dad
I was about two years old at the time, but I remember it clear as day. I had been asleep for a while when I was awakened at some late hour of the night. My room is is a hallway, and is one room down on the opposite side from where my parents were sleeping. So I called out for my Dad and he came into the room. As soon as he said "What is it?" he started to disappear from the feet up! I called out, "Dad!" And he walked into the room and said, " what is it?", and started to disappear AGAIN! This happened about seven or eight more times until he walked into the room, walked over to my bed, and said, "what's wrong?"
I offer no explanations about the incident and my family denies that I ever called out to my Dad repetitively like I say I did on any occasion to their recollection. I know I was awake, because between the disappearing Dad incident and my real Dad's appearance I was sitting straight up in the bed, as I had already awoken.

People often travel astrally in those semi-lucid states between sleep and wakefulness. Perhaps he was trying to answer your calls for help before he was fully awake.

That is a very interesting thought Harlequin. I would have never considered and Astral Visit before you said it....

i think it was a Shadow Joker. they tend to trick people into thinking someone is disappearing when the actual person had no idea that the event happened.
