Does it mean anything?
This is a very short story that I'm just writing to see if anyone can give me some advice. Possibly tell me if it supernatural or not.
For the past 3 years I've been having the same dream over and over. It's always in a diffrent location, but it always involves the same man. I don't know what he looks like or anything about him all I know is that his energy doesn't feel human. In this dream he is always chasing me and yelling that I need to go back home, that I'm going to end up destroying the world or something like that. He's hunting me down I don't know if he's trying to kill me or what, but the dreams are starting to scare me because at times it really seems like I'm awake.
This one time when he grabbed me by my arm I woke up and found bruises on my arm. Is this a normal dream or what? Am I going crazy?

Its pretty easy to get bruises in your sleep. When something happens while you are dreaming your mind will often times incorporate that into the dream itself (That may be why he grabbed your arm this time.) However that doesnt always mean thats the case. What did the bruise look like?

Anyone in your family been sick of had any problems?
anima torturata Jan 3, 2011
Noone is my family is sick, but I've been suffering from a bone disease for a few years.

If you dont mind me asking, how serious/life threatening is the disease? Depending on how bad it is that can have something to do with it. I have an auto-immune disorder myself.
How often do you visit or talk to your family?
anima torturata Jan 3, 2011
My family and I are very close we talk almost everyday. And the disease isn't life threatening yet. I just have trouble doing everyday things. I not sure if this dream has some connection to my disease. A psychic told me that this dream meant that I'm hold back to much in my life. That I'm not live my life to it's fullest potential. That somewhat make more sense to me.

You mentioned that the guys energy didnt feel human. What did it feel like?
Good to hear the it not too bad then. You said that its not life threatening yet? Is it projected to be at some point or just make life difficult?

Dreams can be so real that you have pain and bruises in real life, sometimes self-inflicted while sleeping or no. The mind is a very powerful thing. I've dreamt of being shot and waking up with a severe bruise in the area it hurt. It is possible you had hurt yourself before bed but no bruise formed until you were asleep and your mind used that pain as a focus for your dream pain.
If it interests you, I have a blog I just posted about a man many people in the world have reported dreaming about. I have the link on my blog. However you can just look up "Have you dreamed this man" or something like that in google. I'm sure you'll find it.
You're most likely experiencing a subconscious fear of something you are avoiding. That's generally what recurring dreams of running away mean.
Hope this helps
