Dont Know What I Saw

New to this site, I really have no idea what I saw. Well actually I know what I saw but what could it have been on 3 different nights me and 2 buddies went out to a deserted town. The only reason we went out there was he heard stories of this church with a glowing cross in it. Well we went out there and we saw this cross well... that not the only thing there. Actually the first night it was so the second night we went back with a camera and some tape recorders so see if we couldn't get some kind of proof. That night was full of disasters straight up everything from getting pulled over to forgetting the camera and even the car died it was like something or some one didn't want us to go back. We finally got there took forever but when we did it wasn't a glowing white cross anymore but a fiery red upside down one which creeped us all out. So we left but forgot everything there so we had to come back the next night. So this would be our last visit out there because that scared the shit out of us when we got out there and in this church there was a glowing white figure and glowing red figure the white one. It looked like they were arguing but we didn't hear nothing when we tried to recover our belongings (why we didn't split at the sight of this is beyond me). Well the white one saw us first and he was a older man with long white beard and long shaggy hair he motioned us to leave. Well the red one saw him motioned to us and he got mad really mad I can only assume because the puy(church bench) we where hiding behind flow to the opposite side of the room. The white figure but its hand on the red ones shoulder and flash of light but it wasn't light more like blackness or I don't know how to describe it.

Anyone out there have any idea what I saw? plz comment.
