Floating Spirit
I was at our neighbors visiting and watching TV this one night and I checked the time and realized it was nearly one o'clock in the morning. We had problems with someone coming around our house in the early morning hours and we had never been able to catch them. Our dogs would start barking and we would know someone was out there prowling around. The police could never do anything as the person would be gone once the police came up the lane. Our home sat away from others, in the back was a small woods of several acres which bordered a railroad track. In front of the house was a gravel lane and beyond that was several acres of pastures. To one side was a large empty lot and then one neighbor sat a hundred yards beyond that. To the other side was a gully, large and extended about 70 yards or so to the garage of our nearest neighbor and that was where I was. Once I saw the time I decided I better get for home before our visitor arrived.
I went out and was standing at the edge of the gully which was pitch black, trying to decide whether to take the lane home or cut across the gully which was the shortest route. As I stood there trying to decide, I heard a noise across from me in a stand of trees near an old foundation. What came out of those trees I will never forget. I saw this figure coming out from the pine trees and coming toward me, it was about 30 yards away, the figure was completely white and appeared to have a gown which was as white as the figure but what I noticed even more was it wasn't walking, it was floating. I took off through the gully faster than I had ever ran before and as I ran up the other side of the gully I jumped my mom's flower bed, fence and all without touching a thing. I got in the house and couldn't rouse my mother so I sat in a rocking chair and waited not sure what to do. About 15-20 minutes later the dogs started barking indicating our prowler was outside. I have no idea what it was for sure I saw, but I know it wasn't natural. My Grandmother told me she felt it was something sent to protect me and get me to safety quickly, I told her if that was true, it worked because I didn't hesitate, I moved and moved faster than I have ever moved.
It has been over 40 years but I still can see that figure, completely white and floating.

thats weird....because i have a sort of angry guardian as well.......i never see him walk but he seems to kind of...glide across the ground.....although he is completley black......he wears a sort of spandex mask that keeps his face hidden...with a cloak and hood....plus he once knocked me out without even leaving a bruise on my exoskeleton, AND he pointed at me when i was across the street and i felt as if i was drowning for at least 10 seconds before i was unconcious.......wtf?
