Ghost of a UFO

I dont really know when this happened, but I was looking out the window on my bus and I saw a really light almost whitish blue UFO. The moment I noticed it, it flashed and moved away leaving three to five after images before dissapearing.

Can you give some idea of reference? High in the sky? Low to the ground? Flashed in what direction? Interesting story, would just be easier to imagine it with some more details. Thanks.
