gift or curse?

Since I was a little girl I have always had dreams, then in a day, week, month, even a year later, my dream would come true. I finaly told my mom, I didn't think she would believe me but I found out that my grandmother on my father's side had the same gift. However she knew she was going to die, then that night she died. But is this a gift passed down through the family? I would really like to know.

These dreams also show not only me, but other people that I don't know or have not even met. I can feel the pain or their joy.

What is this? I would really like to know.

well you have the same thing as me and some of the others hear that i have had the pleasure of meeting its called having premonitions and i think it is a gift if accepted but a curse if refused so its all up to you on that one ^_^

Try to use this ability to help people. If you turn away and resist this ability, it will be a negative aspect in your life.

There are so many people and even children that have this ability and they are afraid to talk about it or "fine tune", their abilities for fear of rejection or ridicule.

I think this is a great gift. I wish that this ability was used for the good and protection of our fellow man more frequently.

I don't think it's a gift or a curse. It's just you. It was born with you.

Don't listen to people saying you should use it to help others and that you should embrace that "power".

Just live with it. If you choose not to use that ability just don't use it. It's your choice. It's not harder to forget that you have an ability than to use it. That's nonsense.

People will judge you, throw stones at you and call you a liar if you start embracing that as an ability to help others. If you must help just do it in the shadows. Don't go public.

It's you. Accept it. That's the only advice someone should give you.

Well id like to clear this up now ive gotten so bad messages for my last comment her so let me clarify what i meant she dosnet have to go public with it because nither have i but she should accept and emrasse it beacuse its part of her and not to reject it cuz she cant make it go away but she can learn to control it or block it so plz dont missjudge my last comment

Hi, I read yur story and felt like it was my own. Since I was about 9 yrs old I started seeing shadow people, then around 13 yrs old I experiened poltergiests, when I was 20 yrs old I realized I was an empath and that is when the dreams started that were like yours. I too wondered if it was a curse or a blessing. Since paranormal occurances have been happening to me all my life, I devoted all my energy into studying it. I have studied almost every religion and have learned how to protect myself and my loved ones. Now I believe the dreams are a blessing. My favorite ones are the ones where my love ones visit me. You can always tell because of the way you feel when you wake up. When I was very young I started a dream diary. Now, I don't even need it because I have become extremely good at dream recall. I read some of the oher comments and I agree, I think this ability runs in yours and my family history. I have started to notice the same ability in my two daughters. Some people refer to people like us as "haunted" people. Maybe we are and maybe we aren't. I honestly believe some people attract spirits or enties because they are either more spiritual advanced or because they have dabbled into the occult not understanding or realizing the conscences. I always picture myself surrounded in an orb of light before I go to sleep each night to protect myself from any dark enties and only allow the ones in who are there to show me love or warn me of any danger I might run across. So, in short, you are blessed, but protect yourself because a "sensative" attracts a lot of paranormal experiences.

minor precognition or clairvoyance. best thing is to ignore it, if you trust it too much it can be used against you. youre in a spiritually vulnerable state when you sleep, and anything could be placing that into your head. bloodlines do have alot to do with such powers, but it has been known to be sporatic as well.

I don't think thats a curse, I think its a gift. Just keep paying attention to what you dream, and let someone close to you know what you dreampt. (someone you know you can trust), and keep paying attention to your sences.

My sister had thta when she used to belive in ghostst now she doesnt and she puts it to the fact of geussing

she said some1 we know will die that we love and care for and then 1 of our friends got hit by a car and died
