Halloween Ghost

Last halloween my older brother and I were walking around the neighborhood.

We started walking along a dirt road passing a friend's house. I looked down and I noticed an extra shadow. I've been noticing there were only two shadows but there was a strange third shadow walking with us. I looked around and didn't see anything or anyone and I didn't hear anything. To make sure the lighting didn't produce another shadow, we turned around and repeated our steps. There were only two shadows.

I wasn't scared any, but it was strange nonetheless.
