Halloween or a Real Bigfoot?
I live in the Game Preserve in Pennsylvania. I'v never believed in Bigfoot or anything that could be considered "Mythical" creatures. I just woke up and it was about 6:00am in the morning. I walked into the sitting room of my bedroom and looked out the window just as I do every other morning. Much to my suprise I saw something tall and dark walking from my next door neighbors house along the trees and forest that line the back of my property. It is hard to say, but I would estimate that it was about 6 1/2 feet tall, and could see that it was covered with thick, dense fur and had a strange gait. I watched it for a minute or so and then it vanish into the thick growth of the woods. I ran through all possibilites in my mind. Was it a bear? Was it a neighbor dressed in a costume? I was sure there was a logical answer.
As time went on I was struck by the fact that a neighbor would not be in my back yard in a costume at 6 am in the morning. The treeline has a steep incline that no one in a bulky costume could just step into and navigate without falling over. This may have been the bigfoot that everyone talks about.
I later found out that someone had the same sighting in Kempton, PA, which is only minutes from my home. I don't want to believe that this is what I saw, but I have no other logical answer. I keep thinking about it's gait and the strange manner in which it moved. It also walked completely upright, not cumbersome as a bear would walk on it's hind legs. I understand through research that Pennsylvania is one of the top 5 states for Bigfoot sightings.
Who knows... I'll keep looking out my window and let you know if I see anything else.

Thank you for sharing you experience. I am also from PA and while I have never seen bigfoot, I have several friends who claim they have. I have heard the screams that are supposed to be his/hers. Two friends claim to have seen two adult ones with two little ones. I believe that these creatures are out there and would like to get a look at one sometime...not to close though.

if bigfoot does exist they must be very smart, because no one has caught one they have only claimed to see one.

Okay the big issue with Bigfoot is finding the body right? If you think about the shear amount of sighting ALL over the WORLD it's less likely for Bigfoot to not exsist. There is one idea that I've had for quite a while but never bounced it around others' ideas. That idea is that Bigfoot, along with all other mythological creatures, has the ability to add a dimension to our 3-dimensional world. Now most of you reading this, I assume, has the belief that ghosts are something very real. Now an easier way to describe what I'm explaining is to say that Bogfoot can "disappear" in front of the human eye, exactly like a ghost might do. The only way I can guess where they could aquire such an ability brings us back before humans. Perhaps such an ancient species has a much more developed brain, one that allows them to access a different dimension. This all comes back to the fact we never find bodies, that we don't find droppings, etc. This would be the perfect explaination behind how Bigfoot has been seen so much and recorded for thousands of years, yet be so elusive that if a scientist does believe in such an idea he/she is almost certain to be looked down upon in the science community. I think that this ability isn't seen an an intellience by them but instead just an adaptation to survive.

There are loads of bigfoot sightings and after your sighting, somebody else saw it. Im starting to think there is more then one bigfoot. If you think about how big the U.S is and there have been sightings all over, a single bigfoot cannot travel such distances in those lengths of time.
