I'm Gonna Get You

This happened when my son was around 2-3 years old. My husband happened to be working late this night. I was chasing my son around the house telling him "I'm gonna get you". He would take off running, laughing all the while while I chased him and then would tickle him. Now you have to understand about our house, our son's bedroom and our bedroom is on opposite ends of the house. We have a monitor for his room and even though he will soon be 9, we still have the monitor.

Anyways, the monitor was on while we were playing this game. I stopped in the kitchen to rinse some dishes in the sink. All of the sudden I hear over the moniter "I'm gonna get you" and it sounded like my husband's voice! Just after that, my son comes running into the kitchen afraid. Mind you, my husband was still at work. I knew my son heard it too so I turned the monitor off and switched the tv and put cartoons on just to get things off of his mind.

I am sure that there was no harm meant and that whoever it was just wanted to join in the fun.
