I Never Said a Word.

I had just moved in with my roommate Stephanie - we were best friends and we had lots of fun together. One day we were driving down the highway (actually she was driving and I was next to her). We weren't talking - just enjoying - kind of zoning out. In my head I was thinking about wanting to buy a car. Guess I was really thinking hard about it because out of nowhere Stephanie spoke and asked, "What kind of car are you thinking of getting?" She asked it as though we had been talking about it - having a conversation about it - but we were NOT talking.

I turned to look at her in such disbelief! I asked, "Why did you just ask me that question?" She said, "Because you were just talking about getting a car." She said it as if I was crazy for asking why she was asking. LOL. So I said, "Stephanie, I never said a word. I have just been sitting here thinking about getting a car but I never actually SAID ANYTHING!"

Well, to this day she probably doesn't believe me. But I know. I never said a word.
