Investigation at St. Mary Cemetery

While my friends and I were hanging out in my friend's backyard, I brought up that I would really love to start a paranormal group. After hearing this, my friend Brittany told us that she lived very close to a cemetery. So, after hearing this, I stopped to get my voice recorder (since I'm practically always ready when it comes to the supernatural), and went with my friends to it.

What we basically did was walk around for 20 minutes, voice recorder on, and asked if any spirits had a message from the dead. While walking around, I saw a lone wooden cross near a tree. So, out of sheer curiosity, I decided to walk to it and see who it was. I saw that is was the grave of Lewis Wilczek, a local who just recently died.

I told my friends to come over and look at it. My friend, Reno, then told me that I was standing on his grave! I then quickly jumped off, leaned towards the grave, and asked, "Do you have a message from the afterlife, Lewis?" We didn't hear anything with our ears, but it turns out, my voice recorder did pick something up.

While walking home, my friends and I huddled around the recorder, listening to the investigation. It soon came to the part where I asked Lewis Wilczek if he had a message.

4 seconds after I asked it, there was a soft, raspy voice that we believe said, "..get off.."

After hearing this, we shared the same look: shock and awe. This was our first EVP that we captured, and hopefully, not the last.
