Invisible Friend George

I'm a hellraiser, and like to have fun, always have, and hopefully always will...but anyhow...I went out to dinner with my boyfriend (at the time) and I pretended my invisible friend George was there with me, yes...I was like 22 years old. It was all fun and games at the restaurant...getting into an arguement with no one beside me and what not. I was staying at my bf's bar overnight (rooms upstairs) and we were laughing about what I had done in the restaurant. He fell asleep, and I just couldn't, I was wired, so I lie down next to him, trying to force myself to sleep...that's when it happened. I'm staring out the door at the dim light when a shadow walks down the hall. It was a big male figure, broad shoulders, big belly, and just tough looking. I am telling myself that I'm hallucinating, how many ghosts want to occupy a bar?? It made its way back down the hall, and pauses just before the room I was in, and then it was gone....I didn't sleep that night, I wasn't afraid, I was perplexed...why would it show itself to me? What did it want? These questions were what kept me awake. When my boyfriend woke the following morning...I hesitated about telling him..but I did. After I finished he was just looking at me with disbelief in his eyes. I asked him what...he then told me about a man who used to live nearby, who frequented the bar years and years ago, a lonely man, whose family was all gone. My describing him was dead on (no pun) and then he shocked me....The man...his name was George.

Now we were at the bar before we went to the restaurant..is it possible he knew? Did he go along for the ride? Did he want to show himself to me for a reason? I don't know, but I'd ask him if ever given the chance. Anyhow...that's my story. P.S. It never happened again.
