Is It My Papaw?
The story takes place in ironton and started 2 years before what my date says.
I was 8 years old at the time, and one night I was lying in bed and looked up and saw my wodden giraffe statue move. That morning I got rid of it. My house was built by my papaw. On the date I saw a shawdow with no feet move across the hallway and that was the last I've seen so far.
My Mom belives me, but not my Dad. Plz contact if u have any advice!

sounds like your house got built on a haunted piece of property.you can always yell at the ghost and tell it to leave thats what i did. and i got rid of it. get all angry and just yell at it and tell it to go away and never come back because you don't want it there. im 15 so assume you can do it. and i was alone at my house when i did it.

Do you feel threatened?
It's natural to be afraid of the unknown, but you sometimes have to be stronger than your fears.
Wait it out a bit longer... this spirit could be someone who was important to you, and you wouldn't want to let your fears ruin the chance to help them out.
If you are confronted by something you feel threatened by; invoke the name of the Lord and tell it to let you be.

Have you experienced any unusual shadows or moving objects lately? I would think that if you're grandfather were still there in the house you would be seeing odd things on a reular basis. If you are not, then a. he or someone else was passing through, or B. it was night, you thought you saw your toy move, and the shadow was a curtain or a tree limb. If nothing else has happend to you in that house I'd say no, it is not haunted, and your grndfather is happily on the other side.

i wouldn't worry about it. the shadow you described was one of the most harmless ones i have ever encountered. what's weird is that they only live in abandoned houses. maybe the reason it hasn't come back is because it has moved to another location.
