jake's GF's house - No Magic Allowed

yesterday, my friend jake took me to his girlfriends house, he wanted me to show myself so that she would believe him about all the weird things happening around him, once i came into the house however, i discovered that their home was defended by more than just a digital home defense system,

i stepped inside and used a flash spell to give me a lowdown on the rooms in the house and i felt something choke my magics, a wave had gone through my spell and shattered it, next thing i know i'm being stared down by some freaky mask, it was a giant wooden rhombus with a big nose and glowing lights behind the eyeholes, it was shouting at me in some obscure language and it was so much in my face that i was up against the wall, "JOOSA, JAGOOGA!! MAGABOBO!!!" i had no idea what the hell it was saying so all i did was raise my arms in surrender, but then it literally opened it's mouth and a swarm of bees came out, these bees chased me from the house, once i got outside, these bees turned to smoke, my friend came running along with his girlfriend, they asked me what happened, i told them and his girlfriend reprimanded ME!

"magic isn't allowed in my house, you should have known better."

i refused to stay any longer and left, i'm never going back there again, i think this is classic use of an ancient artifact with a guardian spirit attached to it.

what ever it was though i am never ever going back.

its definitely the language of the spirits and i think you described a masked one named jongulious who is actually passed down as a guardian of a family from generation to generation just as a demon tamer passes demons down from generation to generation.

Okay yes its African by nature. Its not tied necessarily by an artifact but is tied to something. It was a gift to that family. Don't believe everything you're told. An elf wouldn't stop magic like that. its a sort of illusion.(Africa likes their illusions lol) you have three options. Retreat which you did and saved your life. Stay where you stand and die. Meet its challenge and walk right pass it to show your bravery and you'll be permitted to use magic there.

I am from Africa and that language is not african at all.... we have over 11 african languages, and that's not one of them. The mask may be african, but south americans have similar masks like we africans do
