midnight visitor

I was at least 8 years old, and was in bed late one night, when upon rolling over, I happened to come awake. I felt the bed behind me go down, like someone was either sitting there or just leaning over it. Being a younger child and half asleep, I thought it was my mother just getting up to go to the bathroom and just stopped in to kiss me. But when I rolled over to see her, there was no sign of anyone. Nothing but a cold spot.

The fact that I was able to dismiss it and roll right back over though doesn't suggest a sinister presence... but then again, who knows?
