Mothman in Boundry waters canoe area Minnesota

I was fishing in the Boundry waters on memorial weekend with my friend. We were on one end of gull lake when we herd this faint jet sound. This was a clear sunny day with no clouds. After about 10 seconds of hearing this we were both looking up in the air. Just then above the tree tops to our far left was this thing going about 120-200 mph and as it got in front of us it turned its head and looked at us.

I grabbed my paddle and my heart stopped cause I thought we were dead. It was all black with human legs and very big wings. When it turned and looked at us, it had a human looking face with bright red eyes. As it flew by it went close to the water and was only a blur but you could see where it was.

Gull lake has an island on it full of seagulls and as it went towards the island where all the seagulls were a flock of a bunch of seagulls flew up. I don't know what it was but we're both scared and started canoeing back. We didn't say a word to each other cause we both knew what we saw was something we couldn't talk about.

This is the first time that I have talked about this cause I now know I'm not the only one. I wish someone would contact me cause I think I'm the only one who saw mothman during a bright clear sunny day.
