My first experiance that I can remember

The very first time I was ever exposed to something that felt paranormal I was a child, no older than four years of age, it was a dream that I had one night. it wasn't so much as a dream but a nightmare, I would wake up in my room and feel the need to leave. I would enter the hallway and all of the doors are closed except for my parents room but I would head over into the living room and in there the floor was stripped, concrete exposed and in the center was fresh dirt with three mounds. I remember feeling like a stone dropped into my stomach and that creeping fear running up my spine, I get startled from a noise in my parents room and there stands a strage rabbit, his face twisted and crazed but he wore a red and white striped vest and a straw hat, within his hands he holds a hatchet. I knew instantly that he had killed my family and that I would be next, just as that realization came to me he came running towards me with a murderous intent on his face but always just before he would get me, I would wake up terrified.

I had this dream every night for nearly two years but it would be different, each time I would get closer and closer to saving my family but it wasn't until one night, my final night of ever having the dream, I rushed out to the living room to see my family alive but sleeping peacefully, he had not touched them and once again he comes out of the room running with the hatchet and I make a bold move to go outside of my house. I lured him out and I ran back inside holding the door. I taunted him and he came swinging at me, with one push, I closed the door on his arm and he dropped the weapon. Something inside me knew that if I didn't kill this rabbit, I would never be rid of the dream and so I killed him and I never had that dream ever again. This was my first encounter with something i couldn't explain or even tell to my parents until I was older.

Still to this day I have never had this dream but it still sends a chill down my spine from remembering it.
