My Grandma?
Well, It happened when I was really little and I'm not sure if anyone will believe me, but here is some background. My grandma Virginia died of cancer when my dad was only 17. So I could have never met her.
I was little and was having nightmares frequently and I refused to sleep in my own bed. I would have rather slept next to my parents bed, or door. So anyway, I woke up because I heard something and I looked and saw a pale old woman standing there. Being only like 4 or 5, I froze in terror and when she took a step towards me I quickly pulled the covers over my head and I do remember falling asleep again after checking multiple times to make sure that the lady was gone. My mom was really weirded out because I had never seen my grandma's picture at all and I described perfectly.
If anyone has any explanation I'll be glad to hear it :)

I believe you. It was just your grandmothers angel. she came to see you. maybe she wanted to let you know she was there if you need her. :T my grandma died a few months ago from brain cancer, I see her or hear her sometimes. I will you give you advice that i got from someone else here on this site. if the spirit keeps coming back dont get attached to it. you may love it, but dont count on it for your life. she may come back again, in a dream, as a voice, or in form, dont be scared. :)

Well the thing is... I have never met my dad's real mother. She died when he was 17...

yeh, i don't think you need to worry about it. I think that you grandmother probably just wanted to see you because she wasn't around when you were born, and for you to get an idea of what she looked like. I get dreams about relatives who have passed on quite alot, so i always know they're watching over me :)
