New House
My family and I were considering moving, so one day we went to to tour this house in Fort Collins. The house was built in 1965, and it looked great and was a great price, and my parents were considering purchasing it until our final look at the house...
Me and my sister went down in the basement to check it out when the door to the basement slammed shut and the lights made a loud pop and went out. Me and my sister rushed to the door and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge, it was as if it had been locked from the outside. My sister was screaming her head off for my parents who were yelling for us. My dad finally ran out to the truck and grabbed our emergency hammer and rushed back inside and hit the doorknob 5 or 6 times before it broke off. The door swung open and the light in the basement came back on. Needless to say we didn't move there.
I think the spirit in the house didn't want change, but I would like to hear other opinions.

I was too looking for a new home and our real estate agent took us to the last house on her list for the day. We went into the house and I could tell right away that I didn't feel comfortable there. We continue on through the house and decided to check out the basement.
As soon as I got into the basement I felt an overwhelming presence that clearly did not want me there. It was so oppressive it was making me feel horrible. I immediately turned, ran up the stairs and out of the house. Also, needless to say I didn't buy that one!!!

Bless your heart! If that had happened to me, I would probably have to change my pants afterward, lol! Glad your parents didn't buy the house! Someone obviously did not want you there!
