Now you see it, Now you don't

Have you ever seen something you knew you saw, but still doubted yourself? I'll tell you my expierence.

One evening I was folding laundry on my bed and was singing an old church tune "shall we gather at the river" when I heard the floor boards creaking in the hallway. Thinking it was one of my children I turned to see who was there. What I saw still haunts me to this day, because it defies what rational people expierence.

There in my hallway was a fleeting pink form that appeared to be male. I was trying to grapple with whatever I was seeing when it stepped into my daughters bedroom , as though it entered another dimension and then was gone.

I have never sung that hymn again.
