It was during the last few days of my 8th grade year. Me and my best friend Robert were at his house to meditate. We, as martial artists, did this to be in better control of our energies. I had previously learned how to focus large amounts of this energy into selected areas of myself and I was practicing this technique. I had jokingly decided to focus as much of my energy as physically possible into my left hand to see if I could become ambidextrous this way. I closed my eyes, and focused on that hand. It began to feel warm and jitter a bit. soon though, It started to jerk sporadically and to feel totally numb. I leapt up, and all was normal again except for a warmth in my hand. Robert's theory is that I may have turned that hand into a device for contacting the spirit world temporarily. Whatever the explanation, my hand is now a reliable adviser. I consult it with a problem, focus my energies, and it will either feel cold or warm in proper response to my question.

BTW: usually warm is positive and cold feelings are negative. Examples. should I give this bank my money? *warm = yes*. Should I hold onto this fire cracker? *cold = no*. Are ghosts present? the intensity of the heat will not only say yes, but just how many/ powerful they/it are/is.

Actually to be honest, I don't think the theory of your hand contacting the spirit world is quite there. You see, when you focus energies into various parts of your body, you can ideally control every aspect of that piece of your body, and even more ideally, manipulate it's very form. I am familiar with what you did though because I often focus my energies toward my hands, and if you focus a strong enough amount, I've found that your hand will begin to tense up strongly and twitch. I think that may be because more energy is focused into the hand than it is used to. As for the 'after-effects', so long as you believe it is capable of these things, it will continue to do just that, i.e. you will it to function as it will.

Lol, it sounds like what my grandpa used to say about his trick knee- it used to tingle in the answer to questions and of course when the weather changed (but I really think he was making up the part about it answering his questions) . Very cool.

it seems as though you accustomed your hand to feeling surrounding energies but not being psychic you can only sense positive or negative energies which is why the words positive or negative come to mind when describing the energy
