Old Anja's House

I was spending a small vacation time with my old friend Anja, who claimed that her house was haunted.

She was currently illegally inhabiting an apartment in Pripyat.

I had come over and was staying with her and immediately things were strange.

Things were moving around, almost literally all the time, even during the day.

And right in plain sight.

At times you could feel hands clinging at you, pulling you in certain directions.

At one time I was physically pulled into another apartment by an apparition where a small doll stood floating in the air, which then fell to the ground.

I prayed for the family's souls and I was left alone for the remainder of my stay when it came to be pulled around.

One night there were what sounded like people stampeding out, screams, loud explosions. I even felt immense heat, which was odd because this was in the dead of winter.

I burned sage around the entire apartment complex but that didn't seem to help or do anything.

I decided to see how much remaining radiation there was in the place we were staying.

There wasn't much, except when the hauntings acted up.

Occasionally you could see objects floating around in the streets if you were lucky.

I'm not a religious person, but praying did seem to help with what I endured.

Thank god I left several weeks afterwards.
