Our Last Good Bye
The whole family was aware how sick my grandmother was. I was about eleven and at the time I was living with my dad (my parents were divorced). My father had a girlfriend named Patricia and she had asked me one night if I was aware that my grandmother wasn't doing too well. I said that I knew, but the way she asked me I knew right away my grandmother had passed on.
It was Christmas time (at that age) all I could think about was how I wasn't going to get any more cool toys. I felt guilty right away. My family was poor and not very reliable for anything. (Nothing has changed) Anyway, I went to bed that night and sometime in early morning I felt something brush my face. I woke up and on my bed sat my grandmother. I said "Grandma" she didn't say anything and all I could see was her figure (an outline) She kinda looked like see through jello. She got up and then walked toward the door. My grandmother turned around and smiled and waved at me and then she walked in the hallway. I quickley got aout of bed and went towards the door.I didn't go in the hallway because I was afraid of the dark. (I slept with a nightlight ) -- she disapeared and thats the last I've seen of her.
To know that my grandmother said goodbye is the best gift I could ever have from God. I don't remember the next day or anytime after that , but I do know I never told anybody .I knew they wouldn't beilieve me.
Thats all-Nothing scary about it.

Ghosts are just people. The fact that they happen to be dead doesn't make them any less people than they were in life.
