Running Dogs
I walk through a field on my way to catch the bus to work at night, and every time I see dogs running on the far end, and moving around the middle school nearby. They always seemed like timid strays, but recently I caught sight of one close up, and it looked wrong. It was mangy and thin (both are too be expected) but it's eyes didn't shine in the light of the streetlamps which were close. It was also pitch black, and moved all wrong, though I cannot really say how.
I've seen them since, but they have not come closer than 20-30 feet. I have noticed that they make no sounds when they run, but they do howl, and when they get close to the fence of a nearby house, the dogs in the house bark like crazy.
I hope to one day soon get pictures of these things, there has got to be about 5 of them and each are the size of a german shepherd. If I ever get pictures I will post them on this site.

Whoa.....this story alone just painted the creepy looks in the dogs eyes....shivers and all. I hope to see your pictures soon. I'm interested in evidence :D

i think i know what you are talking about kay....i think it might be a pack of hellhounds...black dogs of death....the grim....deathdogs are exactly the way you describe them, but their behavior is a little off....they ususally attack anything that moves...."speaking from personal experience"...more ouchness.....anyway, i think these things are either shadow demons or black dogs of death....pm me about witch you think it is after you do more research

Sounds interesting. Pics would definitely be good to look at. No animal control or police have responded to take these things away after all this time? Could be cool stuff.

because if what i am reading is right....the things will only appear to either people who are about to die.....or to people with special abilities like kay or another empath that can sence their presence

ok i have a question to ask. i have seen something similar and have submited a story detailing what i saw. it was a black wolf looking dog with bright red eyes, it appeared to me between half awake and half asleep. it came up to my bed side and bit me but left nor marks, and then three weeks later it returned in the same manner it had last time but instead it jumped into my body and i haven't seen it since. to describe it more in detail: the fur on this dog/wolf was jet black and mangy looking, it was slightly slimmer then a normal dog but not emciated, it was tall and had red eyes, the whites of the eyes were even red but slightly lighter then the irises. it also seemed intelligent, and it's breath was black.

It sounds like it might have been your spirit animal calling out to you. By the way you described it, it sounds like it is of demonic origin, but it seems to me that it doesn't truly want to cause you any harm.
