Second Precognitive Dream

We lived in an 80 year old, two story, victorian house in a suburb of Cincinnati. There were two staircases leading to one going upstairs. One entrance was from the kitchen and the other from the front door. I always naturally used the entrance from the front door coming and going to school. One night I had a dream that I walked down that side of the stairs and saw a bloody dead arm hanging through a hole in the ceiling. The dream frightened me so much that for the next week I completely avoided that side of the stairs and used only the kitchen entrance.

One day after school I was in the kitchen with my mother and I was telling her about the dream I'd had and how scary it was. All of a sudden we both heard this enormous crash and saw plaster flying through the entire downstairs rooms of our house. Back then houses were made with lathe and plaster and the material is very heavy. We went to look at what had happened - the ceiling above the stairs leading to the front door had completely collapsed and there was a gaping hole!!!!

Much to my relief there was no bloody arm.... but could the dream have been warning me that it might have been MY bloody arm if I continued to use those stairs that week?
