Shadows

I am writing this because I am terrified. Its been happening for about 2 months that I know of.

I am currently seeing black figures fly around the room. I always only see one at a time and it is never in a specific shape. It is very fast so I can only ever see it for a second or two. It is rarely just out of the corners of my eyes, its all around me.

I have dreams of a demonic figure is trying to consume me, I scream "no" at it and eventually I fall weak and pass out. The dreams feel so real, because I have my eyes open and Im staring right at it leaning over in my bed. Im having dreams, or something, that everybody in my life is screaming at me and trying to get away from me. I cant really call that a dream though because I havent heard from a friend in what seems like days.

I dont know what this thing is but it feels like it has slowly been sucking my life away and crippling me in many ways. Im not sure how exactly how to fight something when I dont know what it is.

That's really something.. I will be posting my fair share of stories soon.. This site really helps out for us in somewhat ways to fight our own demons.. You have an ally in me..

Hey Shadow, you may be experiencing some sleep paralysis, with some hallucinations. I'm not religious, but try to rebuke the spirit in the name of god. This can work even if you aren't in a paralyzed state of mind, but you have to convince the spirit you are stronger.

Sounds a lot like sleep paralysis i used to think i had that until the creature i saw (whom ive been seeing since i was little) started to attack me, i still have scars and witnesses who saw the whole thing. recently i did a wicca spell (non harmful) and havent seen anything since!

I'm here to offer a slight more...scientific approach I guess. Not saying I don't believe it could be a demon, because it very well could be. But if this has been causing you to stay awake...or lose sleep rather. It could be sleep deprivation making this worse. Sometimes if you have insomnia, the fact that you aren't resting can cause hallucinations in dreams and out of dreams. But if it is a demon I would suggest looking into getting religious help. Any minister should be glad to help, in my case I help myself when things like this occur. Usually if I've been having...sights...not sure what to call it, I drink my own mix of herbal tea and it relaxes me, although it does not rid me of the visions.

My dear, this is a very real demon. But not in the traditional sense. Its one you created. Don't worry though there's help. For starters you're actually gaining consciousness during a part of sleep we all experience. During this phase you're basically paralyzed. By doing this I believe you may be a medium of sorts without realizing this. There's three things you should do. Take a vacation, even a small one, and get away for a bit. Start meditating. Finally try to find a stress management class you can take. I believe in you and I know you can get through this :)
