Shadows in my Soul — AllSupernatural

Okay, I was walking home late that night when I saw a shadow of a tree move nearby. I thought, it must be one of my friends playing a trick on me. Unfortunatley, I was dead wrong. Suddenly, a large shadow came out of the tree, and with a loud shreik lunged at me. I didn't know what to do so I sheilded myself with my arms when it phased through me; at least, that's what I thought it did.

A minute or two later, I felt an incredible amount of pain throughout my body and I couldn't breathe. That's when I realized what it was; a Shadow Theif. What they do is they merge with your shadow and then try to leave with it. As soon as I discovered what it was, I reached into my trenchcoat and pulled out my flask full of holy water. I popped the top and drank the whole thing. Almost instantly, the pain went away and I fell to the ground gasping for air.

I have always carried a pint of holy water in my trenchcoat since then. And my friend says "ha ha, shadowless person."

i don't think holy water is all you need to protect yourself from a shadow thief. i understand that you didn't have much with you but you should always be prepared for something like that. i know i am...

I was (and still am not) sure if holly water works ... I mean, shouldn't then wearing a cross or some other symbol work as well?

Anyway, this was a creepy experiance.

although I don't believe you are a vampire but assuming you are wouldn't chugging Holy water turn you to dust or whatever by the way what's so bad about losing your light blockage aka shadow

not to be disrespectful but how can you be over a thousand years old [i read your profile] but yet you say you were born 1905 that is a bit off, also i thought vampires couldn't drink holy water, then again i never met a vampire, so i really don't know what they can and can't do.
