Shadows in my Soul
Okay, I was walking home late that night when I saw a shadow of a tree move nearby. I thought, it must be one of my friends playing a trick on me. Unfortunatley, I was dead wrong. Suddenly, a large shadow came out of the tree, and with a loud shreik lunged at me. I didn't know what to do so I sheilded myself with my arms when it phased through me; at least, that's what I thought it did.
A minute or two later, I felt an incredible amount of pain throughout my body and I couldn't breathe. That's when I realized what it was; a Shadow Theif. What they do is they merge with your shadow and then try to leave with it. As soon as I discovered what it was, I reached into my trenchcoat and pulled out my flask full of holy water. I popped the top and drank the whole thing. Almost instantly, the pain went away and I fell to the ground gasping for air.
I have always carried a pint of holy water in my trenchcoat since then. And my friend says "ha ha, shadowless person."

salt and holy water work but a pentagram would help as well, though i do not think that using any of those alone would help unless it was very weak. about the coat, i find it very helpful unless i can only use my very long one wich makes people think im crazy and usually makes me lose clients.

I have read in numerous places that vampires are not made but are born.... I have always been more then infatuated with vampires and from a very small age known not what my connection is but definitely that I have one. My birthday is on halloween and from the age of about 5 I have waited every birthday outside by myself waiting for my chance to meet one or atleast have one grace me with their presences. Dorky and childish I know but I believe with every fiber of my being they are real. I'm 25 years old now and still to this day atleast once a week I have a dream in which I am not alone and I can not see them but I know they are there watching over me, they share the same infatuation about me as I do them, I always get the feeling that whoever it is might be my soulmate. I feel like I have known them for many lifetimes ... strange but I sometimes have this same exact dream 2 or 3 times a week and its been on going since a child... any thoughts. Please don't judge me harshly these are sincere feelings

that's strange though, you have a seemingly unexplained kinship with vampires, could it be a past life maybe?
or is it a twilight fan's infatuation?
BTW, twilight disgusts me, it's just disgusting how the noble and monstrous name of vampire has gone from something that shit themselves in fear of, to the wet dream of some adolescent girl.
it makes no sence AT ALL!!!

No no no it would never be my intention to offend or misunderstand you. I am here to listen what you have to.say for a better understanding and hopefully for me to better understand myself. It was certainly did not have anything to do with twilight... my obsession changed into infatuation after reading Ann rice's lestat it was when I fell in love with a fictional character lol.... I love dark mysterious yet twisted path they live. Yes.I completely believe in past lives but in one I truly believe I came from Egypt because it is there.that I am obsessed with as well. I would like to do that hypnosis.

cling-ons attatched to you, wouldn';t it be easy to just shake them off?
you are a vampire after all, very capable of obliterating such insignificant creatures with little effort.
magic is key to a vampires existence, use a simple galvanization spell and they should dissipate.

You are waaayyy too good at remembering dates lol. I have a hard time remembering today's. Anyways I'd just like to point out one other thing that works. Light. Cast light upon. Your shadow from head to toe and it stops. Or it least it did for me at a rest area in Massachusetts. All I used was the light from the camera on my phone. Unfortunately that wasn't exactly available in the 18th century.
