The Angry Ghost and the Ghost Boy
My grandmother, who lived in another bedroom in this basement, also heard both the voices of the boy and the man, and once was pushed down the stairs by the man.
After a while, when I refused to stop talking to the boy, and another spirit, who I later found was actually carving words into my closet door at night, the man got really ticked off. He got so bad that my grandmother actually started refusing to go out of her room somedays, just so she wouldn't have to risk being pushed down the stairs again. Sometimes he would chase me through the living room and I would end up practically leaping down the entire staircase so that I could get into my room and slam the door on him. He never went into my room, but he would repeatedly pound on the door screaming, "You little f****** bitch! Get out here!" It was terrifiying. My mother and siblings NEVER went down the stairs if they could avoid it, because they all heard him too, though he did it more frequently at night and on days when there was no one upstairs.
Whenever I opened the door while I heard him screaming, there was no one there. The screaming would abrubtly stop.

the spirits you were experiencing were probably phantoms....violent spirits but not like the poltergeist....more subdued to frightening humans...not breaking things

its good that you didn't stay to fight off the phantom though....because phantoms often feel as if they are wardens in a prison....most of the phantoms that exist today live in alcatraz and other famous haunted prisons...but there might be existing phantoms outside prisons too...anyway...the boy you were talking to was probably a soul that the phantom is keeping here....okay, to go way back look at the grim reaper...he was a phantom that was employed by a higher power to take the souls of the dead and bringthem to that being for judgement.....this phantom that haunts your stairs probably wants your soul so he'll probably go to any means to get it....like pushing your gran down the stairs......the best way to get rid of a phantom is by freeing his captives....did you free the boy or did you leave him to an eternity of staying in his room? just wondering because if you did free his captives the phantom would have no power over them....and dissapate....just friendly advice from what im now willing to call a "watcher"....i know it sounds buffy ish but i like the sound of it...

back then, I didn't know anything about exorcisms, so no, I never tried to free the boy, at least not in the correct manner. I did feel sorry for him though. Either way, I don't live in that house anymore, not much I can do.

like your boyfriend did when he broke the siding door to your closet, but i doubt that freeing the boy would be that easy....you'd probably have to take the door to the room off its hinges....you'd need someone of my strength and endurance to do it. unless you did it with a screwdriver, then you could just remove the bolts...this is all an if though...such as "if" you still lived there.

sorry kay, i just hate phantoms because they are so damn tyrranical....kind of like a bully that you can't see unless you are you or another empath

Just curious how you "knew" the spirits in your home and communicated with them. Pictures? EVP? Ouija? Some other means? Sounds like an interesting story but I just feel that there's some loose screws here.

Yes, my family is extremely dysfunctional and superstitious. They are of the belief that if you try to do something about it or talk about it, it gets worse, so they pretend it isn't happening, w/ the exception of my grandmother who does do smudgings in homes that she lives in.
