The Dead Have Cars Too

I had spent the night at my best friend, Sam's house with our other best friend, Jordan. It was a girls' night. The next morning after breakfast, we began talking about weird things, like how if you played some songs backwards you heard strange lyrics. We listened to Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven backwards, and when it said 'He'll give those with him 666' Sam freaked. When we asked her why, she said it was because there was a ghost of a little boy called Henry who lived in her house. He always acted up when the numbers 666 were said, it was a house rule that those numbers were not to be said.

Well then, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to use a Ouija Board. I've used them many times, all without any extremely horrible things happening. The worst thing that ever happened to me was when a gargoyle statue "fell"off of a shelf and hit my back when I had interrogated a spirit. Smart, I know. The three of us then proceeded to gather white candles, fixings to make a Ouija Board, and a crucifix. I quickly drew it out and we were ready.

We went to the basement and lit the candles and arranged pillows in a circle so we could sit. Then Sam came up with this brilliant idea that we record this session on her cellphone. Be began speaking with a man that claimed, and proved, to be my Grandfather. I truly believe it was him and not an impostor. He told us to be careful, that there was evil around. That frightened Jordan who lifted her fingers and we lost a connection. We thought it was an opportune time to see if he caught anything. Alas, we had not. Nothing had recorded. We tried recording without the Ouija, it worked.

We then began to try this again, except with both Jordan's and Sam's phones now. We came in contact with my Grandfather again, and he told us to be careful. We asked him if he was with in the room with us, and he said he would be soon. About 3 minutes later the room became very cold but very cheerful. He said he wanted to protect us. We asked from what, and he told me that an ex boyfriend was going to try and murder me on July 5, 2009. We asked why, and he told us the name of someone that I was/am (I'm unsure) in love with. Jordan screamed, "Aw shit!" and we erupted into giggles.

We played back the recording on Jordan's phone. About a minute and a half after Gramps said he was coming over, old music could be heard playing, car ignition shutting off, and a car door could be heard open and shut shut in the background of the phone. A slight rustle could be heard to the point where I had noted that the room had gotten cold. Grampa had bad knees, he often shuffled, I called him a "penguin" on more than one occasion. When the name of the kid that I was/am in love with was said, a very loud and very clear whisper of this kid's name could be heard. By whose voice? We never figured out.
