The Limbs Of Past Loved Ones
Recently, my friend Becky has been finding horse limbs all over our Boarding Stable that house my 6 horses. She has found an entire horse leg, and a horse foot. These body parts were only of bone and cartilidge and were found outside Barn 4. They were found in the hay field.
The farm we're at now used to be an old Standardbred farm where they would breed and train Standardbreds for racing. The owners of the current barn used to be at a different property, where they would hear horses galloping through the indoor riding arena in the middle of the night, when no one was there. The horse trainer, Allison, once heard a horse walking torward one of the arenas, saw the gate open by itself and then close. She then heard the horse running around the arena, but no one was there. When they moved it stopped.
A few years later, a woman named Mary Beth had to stay at the barn overnight , because her horse was sick with colic. She hadn't heard the stories about the old barn, but heard galloping throught the arena. By then, plenty of other horses had died besides the horse they suspected was coming back, Toby. There had been Mitzy, Phyllis, and Sally. She reported it to the barn owners.
We moved over to a different barn, on the same property. Just yesterday, my sister and her friend thought that they saw a coyote. What they said they saw was a big, black, shaggy animal about the size of a medium sized horse, but assumed it was a coyote. When my friend and I went looking for it, we got all cold with goosebumps and a shadow whizzed past us and temporarily (a VERY short time, not more then a second), it blacked out our vision. That same night, a bucket of water was dumped on Becky without anyone being there. It did it all by itself! Then Hannah and I saw the shadow twice more.
We have a horse ghost!!!

It leads me to believe something I had always hoped for, that our wonderful equine friends experience life after death.
The story first struck me as startling but, as I thought more about it, I realized that these beautiful creatures may stay with us.
Don't be afraid, be comforted that they are still there with you.

I have sisters who own several horses. They are boarded at a stable not far from where they live. When the horses of a well known person were discovered slowing being starved ,the Humane Society had stepped in and removed all the horses from her property. One horse in particular had stood out most in my mind due to its incredible state of emaciation. It had literally went from being one of the most beautiful horses I ve ever seen to something I would never want to see again. He came to our barn for some emergency intervention. When he went down in his stall,we knew his time was limited. We made sure he was not left alone at all. We did our best to feed him the meager amount of food he could manage to eat . We kept him as hydrated as we could, but it didnt help.He eventually had to be euthanized and it was the saddest thing we had ever had to witness. I would like to think that if [Leo] would have an afterlife, he would not remember any of the horrible things that had happened to him towards the end of his life.

I'd consider taking some more care in this relatively untouched spirit realm as I hear very little of animal spirits.
