The Padlock

Well, I just got reminded to me yesterday of something that happened about 4 years ago. I was at my friend's house and we rented some horror movies like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original)" and "Nightmare on Elm Street," and a bunch of others, but in the middle of it all...something weird happened.

My friend lives in the trailer park sort of area of town, so he keeps a padlock on his bedroom door to prevent people from breaking in and stealing stuff. Anyways, all of a sudden, it started to violently slam against the door. We also heard the knob kind of jiggle a little bit, but the door was trying to open. At one point, the lock went to a complete 90 degree angle and just floated there...and then it all stopped, and the lock went back down. This was all at about 1:30 - 2:00 AM.

The reason why I bring this up is because my friend called me yesterday and said, "Dude, you remember way back, when we were watching them horror movies and my door went crazy? Well, it just happened again last night at 2:53." I don't know if that has any significance at all, but it's still kind of weird.

Supposedly demons are most active during the hours between midnight & 3am, or 1am and 3am (my head is pounding, so I'm not thinking properly right now).

Granted, that doesn't explain why it happens at random intervals... but I think if you two were to do some research on the land he's on, you might turn something up.

You might also look into the previous owner of the trailer, if there was one.

Lurk hit on the main points, but I'd also consider the possibility that it was someone actually trying to break in. Unless you looked outside and saw no one, it IS possible.
