The Shadow... — AllSupernatural

As far as I can remember, I have always seen these weird "shadow people". It's always when I leave into a dark room or when I'm about to fall asleep. And for some reason I have a very uncanny fear of the dark since I was about 2 or so my mom said. They stand about 6' 2" and are pure black and look to have some kind of robe or trench coat and wear a brimmed hat. I even seen one with red eyes. My entire family has seen these figures but my wife has not. My 3 year old son has even ran into my room crying that "someone was standing near him". They scare me and and my family and we try to bless the house and nothing seems to work...anyone have any ideas?

Shadow people are very famous, a lot of people see them. There is however a lot of debate on whether or not the shadow people are good or bad. I would say though that since you've blessed the house they aren't bad. If they are really scarring you (or more importantly your little boy) try to confront one of them and tell them that they are not welcome in your home and they are to leave.

Jesse does have a good point, some times you can confront them about it, other times when you do that though they get madder. So it's like take the risk or not, other than that you could get a priest like you said.

My cousin has seen these since she was a child and she is in her 30s now. Her younger sister also saw them when she was a child, but doesn't anymore. My cousin said she sees them when she is very tired or feeling vulnerable and weak, and her son also saw them when he was around 3 or 4. She does not believe they are good at all, she feels very negative energy from them. But they have never tried to physically harm her.

How do you feel when they are around? Do you feel afraid or protected? I've had my fair share of experience with these shadow people. This was around the time when an evil spirit was following me around. I would see the shadow people and I would instantly feel safe. It was as if they were protecting me from this evil spirit. When I finally was able to get rid of the spirit, they went away. I believe it is their job to protect us. What they actually are, I do not know. My advice to you would be to ask them what they want and to kindly ask them to be a little less scary if they are simply watching over you. If they are trying to frighten you, try to ask them politely to leave.

Remember though, If they are protectors, and you ask them to leave, you don't know what your letting in.
