Trunk Attack

One time, I wanted to play a trick on my parents. I had it all planned out, yes. I would hide in the trunk in their room, and pop out when they came in!

So I went in, and got into the trunk, and silently closed it. As I waited, the temperature went from being smoldering hot to freezing cold. It was a different kind of cold, if that makes any sense. It was like being under water. I felt slight pressure on my lungs.

I heard breathing, and what sounded like finger nails clawing against the side of the trunk. I felt really cold hands grab me and hold me down, and I couldn't scream because of the pressure on my lungs. I closed my eyes, and tightened my muscles. I really quickly tried to push open the trunk top, but it was like it was sealed shut. I pounded against the top of it, and at one point it opened very easily, and everything calmed down. I ran out of there crying, and I apparently had bruises on my stomach and arms.

The trunk remained there, but when we moved, we packed it up, and it hasn't been opened since. But every time I walk by it, I feel the urge to run back where I was before.
