UFOs over the mountain

When I was younger, we lived in a neighborhood near a mountain range. Along the top of the mountain we saw a fairly large, triangular object skimming over the top. It was really weird, because you would probably have heard the engines if it was a helicopter or an airplane from that distance. We saw these objects a few times while we lived there, but they were only out at night.

On another night while I was outside I saw another one of these triangular objects, this time it was closer and I could make out some detail. There were lights on each point of the triangle. It looked as if it was slowly turning over and over in the sky. Each time the lights would flash, it would be in another position. I watched it until it went just above the treetops in the woods. The hair stood up on my neck.

ufo's are not real!! u probably seen a military aircraft that doesn't make noise! think about it there r always scientific explanations for this!!

for over 10 yrs similar craft have been spotted in my area triangular crafts with lights at each point, usually spotted late at night and in rural areas, i personally as well as a number of my friends have seen exactly what you have described, recently photographs of a missouri UFO have turned up on the web that show exactly what many of us in this area have seen. im not sure if its terrestrial military, or extra terrestrial but the craft you describe exists, and others have seen them.

Actually Piper is 1/2 right.

The triangular craft IS in most instances a secret military prototype that has been influenced/traded with aliens (as their technology.)

What I've been seeing on the television lately is military aircraft called scramjets which are triangular shaped. They are supposed to be able to fly in space and travel long distances in short times.

But I do not think they have tested (or let the public know that they've tested) these aircraft yet. Why would they fly so close to the ground anyways?

I think you got yourself a UFO here.

Hmm, a scramjet wouldn't explain why it appeared to be rotating though.

@piper, if we cannot identify it; it is a UFO. Just because someone says UFO, doesn't mean Aliens.
