Unexplained Levitation

This is something that happened to me as a child and I don't know if it was a dream or what, but I can vividly remember it.

I'd be walking home from school many times and would take off running. At some point I could begin to kick my feet in something like the motion a pair of scissors would make when you open and close them. The more I would kick, the more I would be lifted from the ground. It became a game that I played with myself on my lonely walk home from school.

Now this something that at some time must have stopped, but the memory is real. I know this happened and I remember it to be fun for me
