Was it just a game?

Sometime ago I had a dream. I was standing in some sort of battle. There was chaos everywhere and it felt like I was right there and I had some sort of gun in my hand myself. Well my surroundings consisted of a sort of fortress. A guy ran right past me and he seemed like he was on my side. Whoever he was he ran into a building which was in the center of the entire fortress. Another guy who seemed on my side was running out into the open only to be shot out by a sniper. As the battle raged around me the roof of that center building exploded violently. I ran forward and right as I turned into a small building to escape I heard a loud blast, things went black for a second, and I was awoken from my sleep.

This very detailed dream was a few months ago.

Now onto something else...

Once a week me and my pals get together at a local place and have a LAN party with Far Cry 2. (amazing game if I do say so myself)

Yesterday, we were going though a setup we made which consisted of several maps, team death match. It was very fun for my first time playing the game after playing the first Far Cry.

Mid way through the play list we got to a level which consisted of a... fortress... and to add to things had a good sized building smack dab in the center which had ammo crates and fuel barrels all on the top level. I didn't really notice anything until...

My friend (on my team) ran past me into the center building to assume a decent sniper position. As the game ensued, another guy on my team ran out of ammo and made a run for the ammo crate but that was interrupted by the sound of a guy on the opposing team yelling "boom! head shot!" right after sniping my buddy. Suddenly the whole room of people started yelling "ohhhh!!" as my sniper friend who ran into that building was killed after another guy shot at the ammo crates on the roof to kill him via explosion of ammo and fuel.

I quickly ran for cover in a room that was in the wall (had a ladder to get up on the wall sides) but stopped when I noticed what was going on. I tossed a grenade into the room before running around the corner only to find that I made a score. Someone was lying in wait in that building with a shotgun ready to kill anyone who ran into or by the door.
