When I Was Screwing Around in India
I bought this little flute, hand carved, it had some strange symbols that I couldn't find info on. I didn't bother or feck around with it. I simply played it, though I wasn't quite good to be completely honest. I was improving in skill over time, faster than I expected.
I started having strange nightmares; all of them had some basis around wooden flutes or music. When my skill grew, the nightmares grew in intensity. The nightmares all contained me, impaled on large flutes, music notes causing my head to explode. It all was quite graphic.
I played for some time more, thinking nothing of it (quite foolish). When the music began to form words in my mind of murder and mayhem, I destroyed the flute in a fire of sage, took the ashes, prayed over them and buried the urn deep in my backyard, where the grass has stopped growing since.
I never found out what was causing this, I never found out what the symbols meant, I don't even have a vague recollection of what they looked like.
To this very day it haunts me.

Truthfully though, cool story. Is that the only 'possessed' object you've come across? Seems you got some history with this stuff considering the sage preparation.

You say to this day it still haunts you. Do you mean the memory of it, or are you still having the nightmares?

Terrible thing about that flute. Good thing you got rid of it though, so no one else would have to deal with that. Very cool story too.

I am an Indian and I DO NOT believe in your story AT all!
its dumb!
i play flutes and every week (almost) i buys a new one.
If you bought the flute from some traditional exhibition then the markings could be either sanskrit or gujrati or malwari or any one of the 30 indian languages!

I would've enjoyed reading you're story more, if you went more into detail on what happened to you while owning that haunted object. Maybe you could write it again =)
Oh and I believe you, things l like that do happen...
