I have always had a great interest in the horror and the supernatural. Looking back, I guess I was drawn to it from an early age. I loved watching scary movies as a kid, especially the really gory ones. My favorite is probably The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. I love its raw presentation, the slow buildup, and the way it presents a horrific situation that feels like it could happen to anyone. I now live in Austin, TX and I've had the opportunity to visit the original gas station where the movie was filmed, as well as the original Sawyer house, which has since been moved to Kingsland, Texas. I highly recommend stopping by if you're a horror enthusiast. You can enjoy some BBQ while you’re there! October is when my being gets fully energized, conceptualizing and creating costumes that are sick, twisted, built to scare and that make others uncomfortable. I thrive on getting a reaction out of people.
